Learn new skills to begin a new hobby

• This course is suitable for beginners and is designed to cover the techniques and processes. involved in creating a stained glass panel.
• The course will be kept to 3 people. per course per day ensuring individual attention.
• The day will begin with a safety briefing.

What does the course cover?

• You will start with choosing a prepared pattern/design and the colours of glass you wish to work with.
• Once the pattern design is chosen you will then be taught how to cut glass, lead, solder, cement and then polish it. You will then have a completed panel to take home with you.
• All the necessary tools will be provided and we have a wide range of glass to choose from.

NOTE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

The course includes working with lead and glass and chemicals so for safety reasons we recommend that pregnant women do not attend.

It is also not suitable for children under the age of 16. The course is all day which means having to stand, please contact us before booking if 

you have any health concerns, trouble standing for long periods or balance problems. Please wear old clothes as the process can be messy, you will be provide with an apron to use during the day.

Please wear sensible shoe - No sandals, flip-flops or open toed shoes.

We do reserve the right to turn people away if the appropriate clothing shoes are not worn and /or if safety information is disregarded. No refund will be given if this occurs.

What do I need to bring

• We provide all materials, lead glass solder and tools.
  
• Tea and coffee will be provided.
• Bring your own lunch.
  

Prices and Booking

A one day stained glass taster course costs   £135.00   per person, this includes all materials, use of tools and a panel to take home at the end of the day, a non refundable booking deposit of £25 per person.

Bookings are taken on a first come serve basis on specific days/ dates, group bookings of 4 welcome.

Courses will run on Saturday or Sunday, but we are happy to accommodate other days for group bookings.

The balance is due no later than 4 weeks before your course date. Full payment on booking if the course is less than 3 weeks from booked date.

Cancellations

For cancellations made up to 4 weeks in advance a full refund will be provided or date change exchange will be given.
